Cooking really great pork does not get any easier than this. You can use the pork for enchiladas, fajitas, barbecue sandwiches, soup, you name it. Trim as much fat as possible off of the pork shoulder before you cook it; they tend to be very fatty but also very tasty.
1 3-4 pound pork shoulder roast
1 18 ounce bottle barbecue sauce
1 12 ounce can cola
Yields: 6 Servings
Place pork roast in a 6-quart slow cooker; pour barbecue sauce and cola over roast. Cover and cook on high 8 hours or until meat is tender and shreds easily.
