Buy Jackie O's Beer at Busy Day Market!
Athens' very own local brewery, Jackie O's, has just begun packaging and distributing a few of their delicious varieties of beer in cans! These cans are packaged just down the road at Jackie O's new tap room. We're excited to be able to offer their delicious Firefly Amber Ale for sale here at Busy Day. Introducing Chakay Artisan Roasts!
Busy Day Market would like to announce the arrival of Chakay Artisan Roasts. This brand new local vegetarian product is a potato-based sustainable protein. This sensational 100% plant-based meat-like roast consists of all natural ingredients, with no artificial colors or flavors. Local restaurants Casa Nueva and Restaurant Salaam have been featuring the roasts in some of their recipes and are selling out each time. New craft beers
In addition to the variety of beers in our coolers, we're now carrying an assortment of craft beers. We will be storing these at room temperature on our shelves. The new selection includes O'fallon 5 Day IPA, O'fallon Wheach Beer, O'fallon Hemp Hop Rye, Sierra Nevada Celebration, Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas Ale, Bells Christmas Ale, Victory Golden Monkey, Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, Flying Dogs Raging Bitch, and Bells Two Hearted IPA. Let us know your favorites and we will see if we can get them for you!
Boxed Lunches Available
Did you know that we make boxed lunches for business meetings or any type of group, big or small?? For $8.00 you can get a sandwich, bag of chips and cookies. For $8.50 you can get a sandwich, some pasta salad and cookies. Add $1.00 to either of those and you can get drinks. 48 hour notice is appreciated and there is a $15 delivery charge to the Athens area. Call the store for more details.
Fresh local produce
We have added a new vendor to our growing list - Shade River Organic Produce. They are bringing us fresh organic tomatoes and vegetables. We also get fresh produce for the deli from Green Edge Gardens.
Rossi Pasta
We carry nine different flavors of Rossi Pasta: Spinach Basil Garlic Fettuccine, Tomato Basil Garlic Fettuccine, Classic Fettuccine, Capelli d'Angelo (Angel Hair), Garlic Fettuccine, Italian spice Fettuccine, Wild Mushroom Linguine, Lemon Pepper Fettuccine, Roasted Bell Pepper Fettuccine.
Delicious treats
We have some wonderful sweets in the store, thanks to a local company called "Sarah's Sweets." Each chocolate is hand rolled and dipped, some are then drizzled with a contrasting color. All of her candies are attractively packaged, so they are just as pretty to look at as they are to eat and they make great gifts!! Currently we have Coconut Bon Bons, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Fudge, Buckeyes, Chocolate Pretzel sticks, Peanut Clusters, and several different brittles. Stop by and check them out - they are yummy!!
Silverbridge Coffee
We get different coffees in from Silverbridge all the time, in whole bean and ground. The flavors we have right now are Silverbridge Blend, Sumatra, Southern Pecan, Breakfast Blend, Buckeye Breakfast Buzz and Cafe Femenino Peru. If you have any special flavors that you would like us to carry, just let me know and I will get them in.

At Busy Day Market, you can get delicious Sammy's New York Style Bagels from Columbus! We have blueberry, cranberry, asiago cheese, oatmeal and pumpernickel in the freezer, or you can order from the full list of flavors: Plain, Egg, Cinnamon Crunch, Stix, 5-Grain, Salt, Blueberry, Everything, Sesame, Honey, Poppy Seed, Cranberry, Black Russian, Honey/Sesame, Garlic, Jalepeno Cheddar, Pumpernickel, Sun-dried Tomato, Onion, Oatmeal, Cinnamon Raisin, Asiago Cheese, Rye.
